While post-war investment and economic development will depend on many factors, this panel will focus on two issues of overriding importance: the role of international, financial and governmental institutions, and the strengthening of the rule of law in Ukraine. Aside from the tragedy and brutality, the invasion is a cultural watershed moment, where Ukraine may change the way it does and wants to do business and adjusts its law and culture to reflect a stronger rule of law. The panelists and moderators have experience in the region and knowledge which can both explain and add to the ongoing discussion on these legal and financial points.
